Chiapas Mission Trip

We just returned from Chiapas where we partnered with Mexico Ministries in helping the orphans of Casa Hogar Allegre Orphanage located in Tuxtla Guterez, Mexico. We took a team from Texas of 12 people to work with the children for our annual Christmas mission trip.

We were able to take almost 100 children from the orphanage to buy clothes and shoes for each of them. Our team took them on a fun day to the local Burger King and the next day bought over 100 gifts to distribute to all the children. Our last day at the orphanage we gave out the gifts and served ice cream sundaes.

After that we went up to the mountains and gave out 500 pair of shoes and 700 bags of fruit and candy to the Chiapas Indian children.

This is their only Christmas gift, and many of the children live on dirt floors with no running water. We feel truly blessed to be able to bring hope and happiness to these precious children. This is our 7th year to be able to minister to these indigenous children.
